Although this is a spread from my current Art Journal and can be seen in the sketchbook section as well as a blog post, I wanted to include it here as well – on these pages, I share my love for Thay (Thich Nhat Hanh), for his engaged Buddhism, for Plum Village where I am always grateful for all the resources they so generously share… and where we try to participate on some of the online practices when we can…

This piece was done using only ink (mainly Pitt Artist Pens as well as Steastlers and Tombo).  I enjoyed doing this one – it took a few sittings to complete, and of course the subject matter is one that I love!

This one was done using ink and watercolour in an A5 size cold pressed watercolour journal.  The reference photo was from one taken at ‘Plum Village’ in South West France, which is a beautiful Mindfulness practice centre and Monastery, founded by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh.

This was a mix of ink (both black and colour) as well as some watercolour markers and watercolour pencils.
